The Royal Thai Consulate-General, in collaboration with the Thai Cycling Team in UAE, organized a cycling event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Thailand-UAE Diplomatic Relations.

On February 22, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, together with the Thai Cycling Team in UAE, hosted a cycling event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Thailand-United Arab Emirates Diplomatic Relations. More than 40 cyclists from both the Thai and Emirati communities at various ages participated in the event.

The group cycling route started from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, passing along Jumeirah Beach, through Burj Al Arab, Kite Beach, and then returning to the Royal Thai Consulate-General, covering a total distance of over 10 kilometers. After the ride, the team organized yoga, sound therapy, and meditation sessions at the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s compound, followed by a social gathering with refreshments.

On this occasion, H.E. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, provided financial support to the Thai Cycling Team in UAE for their activities throughout the year 2025. She also expressed her appreciation to the organizing team, led by Mr. Anucha Wansoh, the team leader, for initiating this event in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Thailand-UAE Diplomatic Relations. She highlighted that besides promoting health and well-being, the event helped foster unity among the Thai community and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the people of Thailand and the UAE.

On this note, the Royal Thai Consulate-General wishes to take this opportunity to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Dubai Police for the excellent arrangement by assigning officers to ensure the safety and security of the event, making the event a successful and memorable one.
