Consul-General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates Congratulated the Royal Thai Police Team at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025
 
On February 5, 2025, H.E. Miss Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, extended her congratulations to the Royal Thai police officers participating in the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 1 - 5 February 2025. For this year's competition, Thailand sent a total of 3 teams - 2 Men Teams and 1 Women Team and achieved scores in the Top 5 and Top 10 rankings. On this occasion, the Consul-General expressed her admiration for the Royal Thai Police teams’ excellent performances across all events. She emphasized that participating in this competition not only showcased the dedication and commitment of the Royal Thai Police in developing vital skills, but also elevated Thailand's reputation at the global stage, instilling pride in the Thai people.
 
The UAE SWAT Challenge is a world-renowned annual event held in Dubai, aiming to test the capabilities of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams from across the globe. The competition challenges these elite teams with demanding tasks, simulating real-life situations that involve managing emergencies, using specialized skills necessary in security operations, controlling critical situations, providing disaster relief, rescuing injured officers, overcoming obstacles, and conducting team operations effectively using the tools and techniques used by SWAT teams in the field.
 
For this year's UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, there were a total of 103 teams from 46 countries who participated in the event. The Royal Thai police teams displayed outstanding performance, with following results:
Assault Event (Test of speed in assault and operations in highly secured areas):

ROYAL THAI POLICE B ranked 4th with a time of 1:43.61
ROYAL THAI POLICE C (Women) ranked 32nd with a time of 02:19.15
Tactical Event (Assessment of tactical skills in complex and fast-changing situations):
ROYAL THAI POLICE A ranked 3rd with a time of 00:55.63
ROYAL THAI POLICE B ranked 20th with a time of 01:01.73
ROYAL THAI POLICE C (Women) ranked 69th with a time of 01:44.54
Officer Rescue Event (Training in rescuing injured officers during operations):
ROYAL THAI POLICE A ranked 5th with a time of 02:24.76
