Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs presides over Thailand Pavilion’s Opening Ceremony at Expo 2020 Dubai

On 1 October 2021, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with H.E. Ms. Ajarin Pattanapanchai, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and the Commissioner General of Thailand Pavilion, H.E. Mr. Waravuth Pouapinya, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General of Thailand to the UAE, Dr. Kasititorn Pooparadai, Senior Executive Vice President of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), and Heads of Team Thailand Offices in the UAE, presided over the opening ceremony of Thailand Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai. The ceremony was also joined by the Thai community in the UAE.
 
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai and his delegation visited Thailand Pavilion's exhibitions under the theme of "Mobility for the Future" showcasing the country's development and advancement in digital technology as well as the Thai hospitality that has impressed foreigners from all over the world. The delegation also visited "Thai Souk," the souvenir shop, and the "Taste of Thai by Little Bangkok" restaurant at the Pavilion.
 
Moreover, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai met with H.E. Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai at Thailand Pavilion. He also presided over the opening ceremony of ASEAN Pavilion and visited other neighboring Pavilions in the Mobility Zone, namely Belgium, France, Iran, and Australia.
