On 14 February 2021 at 00.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul General, together with Deputy Consul General, Consul and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai facilitated 42 Thai national team’s para athletes and their coaches at Dubai International Airport on their travel to Thailand by Emirates airline, EK 384 after participating in the Dubai 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix – 12th Fazza International Para Athletics Championships during 6-14 February 2021 to be qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games which will be held during 24 August – 5 September 2021. The Thai athletes competed in 56 event entries and won 39 medals (14 Gold, 13 Silver, and 12 Bronze) ranking the first among 60 countries participating.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai and the Thai communities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates wish to congratulate the Thai national team’s para athletes on their successful performance at the Dubai 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix – 12th Fazza International Para Athletics Championships and wish them the continued success in Tokyo Paralympic Games.
