On 22 May 2019 during 19.00 - 21.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai,together with Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Dubai office and Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (TG), Dubai office, co-hosted a “Thai Iftar 2019” reception at Spice Thai Emporium restaurant, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The purpose of this event was to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and strengthen relations between Thai authorities and public and private agencies, including the local authorities concerned in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. In addition, Thai cuisine was promoted at the event as popular Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Green curry and Mango sticky rice were served together with Arabic food. Over 140 participants enjoyed the food as well as their networking.
