On 23 October 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai repatriated the 17th batch of 248 Thai nationals in the UAE and other countries affected by COVID-19 back to Thailand by Emirates Airline flight no. EK384, bringing 2,830 Thai nationals in total back home. All passengers have been tested a PCR COVID-19 (Nasal Swab Test) by the medical institutions with negative results for COVID-19, and also have their health checked for the issuance of fit-to-fly certificates. We greatly appreciate all the help and support from all UAE and Thai authorities concerned, as well as our Thai community in the UAE that have continuously helped those facing hardship in unity and solidarity. The Royal Thai Embassy and the Royal Thai Consulate-General reiterate our commitment to maintain all Thai nationals in UAE's well-being during this unprecedented, difficult time. We will continue to put forth our best effort to help those in UAE affected by COVID-19.
