Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai Presents ‘Nuad Thai 2024 Awards’ to nine authentic and high-quality Nuad Thai establishments in UAE
 
The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai congratulates the nine Thai massage/spa establishments in Dubai and the Northern Emirates of the UAE for offering high-quality Thai massage/spa services that reflect authentic Thai identity. These establishments have been honoured with the ‘Nuad Thai 2024 Award by the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai’ as follows:
 
1. SPA CENVAREE, CENTARA MIRAGE BEACH RESORT DUBAI
2. ANANTARA SPA, ANANTARA DOWNTOWN, DUBAI
3. SARAY SPA, JW MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOTEL, DUBAI
4. TAIY PRADIT PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION CENTER, DUBAI
5. THAI ROSE MASSAGE CENTER, AJMAN
6. ROYAL THAI BEAUTY CENTER & SPA, SHARJAH
7. THAILAND MASSAGE CENTER, SHARJAH
8. ROYAL TOUCH SPA, ETIHAD MALL
9. RAVEENA LADIES SPA, RAS AL KHAIMAH
At the awarding ceremony, H.E. Miss Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, presented the plaques to owners/representatives of the establishments. The Ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, and H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE, as distinguished witnesses, as part of the grand opening of the first Thai SELECT Festival on 8 November 2024, at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.
 
This ‘Nuad Thai’ award initiative represents the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai’s efforts to promote the image of ‘Nuad Thai’ as a proud national cultural heritage and as UNESCO‘s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity inscribed since 2019. Additionally, it aims to recognise Thai massage and spa businesses in the region that meet various criteria, such as Thai identity, Thai-style aesthetics, location, cleanliness, safety, operational licenses, service menus, trained staff certified by government agencies, massage skills, and local client recognition and trust.
 
The Consulate-General commends the Thai business owners and massage professionals in these nine establishments for bringing prestige to Thailand and encourages them to maintain high standards and continue improving their Thai massage services. The Consulate-General remains committed to conducting assessments and presenting the Nuad Thai awards to Thai massage establishments in the region in the years to come.
