**Important Notes for Thailand's E-Visa Users and Applicants**
Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai
- From 1 January 2025, all foreign nationals who are required a visa to enter Thailand and currently residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are eligible to apply for an e-visa.
- Please visit the official Thai e-Visa website: www.thaievisa.go.th for eligibility and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding all aspects of e-Visa application.

- Visa applicants NO longer need to visit the Royal Thai Consulate-General for submission. All required documents must be uploaded through the e-Visa portal.
- Complete the e-visa application online through the official portal ONLY.
- The Consulate-General has not authorized any agencies or travel agents to process the visa applications on the applicants' behalf and a visa fee must be paid through the official portal ONLY.
- E-visas are non-refundable and non-transferable, please kindly double-check all information before submitting the application and complete the payment.
Important!! Please ensure the accuracy and correct spelling of all information before complete submitting the application. Any errors or discrepancies made may result in the rejection of the visa application.
"The Consulate-General can not modify any information after the application has been submitted by the applicants. In the event of a rejection, the applicants will need to resubmit their application, and please note that the application fee (visa fee) is non-refundable."
- Applications submitted while the applicant is located in Thailand or any country outside of UAE will not be considered and will be rejected.

- Applicants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date of entry.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph that meets the specified guidelines mentioned on the official Thai e-visa website.
- Document indicating current location is evidence to verify your current stay in the UAE, so you are required to submit one of the following documents as proof:
- Travel booking confirmation must be confirmed round trip ticket(s) from the UAE. The Itinerary ticket(s) must be issued from the airlines only. Please note that agency bookings or email bookings will not be accepted.
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand (e.g., hotel booking or invitation letter) must be in accordance with travel booking confirmation.
- Please visit the “Visa Category” section on the official Thai e-visa website for details of documents required for each type of visa.
- The Royal Thai Consulate-General reserves the right to request for any additional document(s) and/or an in-person interview with the applicants at the Consulate-General. All additional requests regarding e-visa application will be sent through the applicants’ registered email.
- Please monitor your registered email for updates or additional document requests.
- The applicants must provide genuine documents and information. If the applicants are found to provide false documents or give false information, their applications will be rejected and be reported for further determination of appropriate action and future prohibition to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

- E-visa processing might take up to 5-20 days from the date of completed submission and payment.
- The Royal Thai Consulate-General highly recommends applicants planning your trip in advance at least 20-30 days before departure.
- Please note that there is no express visa service.
- Please note that the consulate will be closed on official Thai and U.A.E. public holidays.

- Once approval email has been sent to the applicants’ registered email, download the e-visa confirmation. Print a hard copy and save a digital copy on your device.

7. Entry Requirements and duration of stay:
- Present the e-visa confirmation at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival.
- Carry your passport, printed e-visa, proof of accommodation, and return ticket to facilitate smooth entry.
- Verify the permitted duration of stay based on the visa type (e.g., tourist, business) in advance.
- Overstaying can lead to fines, detention, or deportation.
- If you plan to extend your stay, visit an immigration office in Thailand before your visa expires.
