Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai Presents the Letter of Commission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Office
On 20 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Charkrienorrathip Sevikul, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer, Director of the Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, to present his Letter of Commission upon assuming his duties as Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, with consular jurisdiction covering Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
On this occasion, the Deputy Director extended his warm congratulations and welcomed the Consul-General, wishing him every success in his tenure. Both sides discussed ways to further enhance the cordial relations between Thailand and the UAE, particularly the close and continuous development of ties with Dubai and the Northern Emirates across various areas, including trade, investment, tourism, education, culture, consular protection for Thai nationals, and other areas of mutual interest.
The Consul-General reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening and driving forward cooperation among the public sectors, private entities, and peoples of both nations, aimed at deepening mutual understanding and solidifying bilateral relations.
The presentation of the Letter of Commission marks a significant milestone in furthering close collaboration between the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai and the Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, promoting friendly relations for the enduring benefit of both peoples.
